Halloween
A tradition at Anchor, going back to 1999, is to host a safe, fun Halloween alternative for area children and their parents. From 6:30 to 8:00, the fellowship hall on the lower level of the church is open to the public. We have refreshments and games there, along with picture-taking. It's always fun to see how kids are dressed.
In another part of the lower level, we construct a large maze. When children finish trick-or-treating, they enjoy coming to Anchor to run through our maze a time or two (or more). It's scary, but not too scary.
A number of volunteers from Anchor help make the maze and Halloween activities a success.
You can view a whole bunch of photos from previous Halloweens.
