We stick to the United Brethren Confession of Faith, a simple statement of basic doctrinal beliefs. This is the official doctrinal statement of the United Brethren in Christ denomination, which we’re part of. The Confession of Faith states the following beliefs:
There is only one God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. At the same time, He is a three-in-one, or triune, God—the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, sustaining and governing all that has been created.
Though fully man, Jesus was fully God. He was born of a virgin, died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended to heaven. Someday, He will return to judge the living and the dead for the restoration of all things.
The Bible is the Word of God. It points to the only true way for our salvation.
Trusting in the resurrected Christ for redemption from our sin.
We believe every Christian ought to be baptized and to participate in Communion (the Lord’s Supper).
Our denomination also has a set of Core Values.
